DESCRIPTION: Solar One was the principle organizer of the April 14th Step It Up event in Battery Park, and is directly involved in the upcoming event on Nov 3rd in Washington Square Park. Solar One's educational programming focuses largely on energy literacy and reaches thousands of public school students each year. Our organization has also presented over 30 Climate Project presentations throughout the city. In December, Solar One will launch I Heart PV, a grassroots campaign to gain legislative support for stronger solar incentives in New York State.
