WEBSITES:

DESCRIPTION:
Clean Air NY is dedicated to educating the public about air pollution and the everyday changes people can make to improve their air quality. Greenhouse gases have a great impact on climate change and by reducing the amount of carbon dioxide, as well as other gases, we put out will help the earth’s atmosphere. As well as giving out literature, Clean Air NY also works closely with local transportation management companies like CommuterLink, to reduce the number of single occupancy vehicles on the road by finding people carpool matches and mass transit routes. We also send out text and emails on the worst air quality days, as measured by the EPA, letting the public know when the air is especially bad for their health. This is good for people with upper respiratory problems.

FREE PUBLIC RESOURCES:
We have free literature we give out such as brochures, pens, bookmarks and leaflets. We also work with CommuterLink’s Ozone school program which gives air pollution activity books and workbooks to middle and elementary school students.
